Big things have been happening at Secure Storage Technologies, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at the SST website. The site has been dormant for months as all our energies were devoted to creating the new type of metered parking system that has been founder Kane Dutt’s evolving vision since 2003. With the rebirth of the site in July 2009, SST is promising to keep the general public, investors and those in the traffic management field up to date with information about SST’s new CURB System parking meters that integrate smart meters with bicycle, motorcycle and automobile parking. In addition to our twice monthly updates, we will be archiving previous communications to give readers a sense of everything we’ve accomplished.

This is the corporate site for SST, while CURB System parking meters will focus on the smart meter product we will deliver and the advantages it provides for motorists, bicyclists, motorcyclists and the entities that acquire our new system.

SST has been able to secure ideal office space at a reasonable rate on the fourth floor of the Tico Construction Building at 241 Ridge Street in downtown Reno. The location is just a couple of blocks from our original office. SST is leasing about 1,200 square feet with plenty of room to work on kiosk prototypes, testing and software. The space includes a large conference room and reception area. There is also plenty of room for growth: about 2,900 square feet for expansion over the next few years.

More good news: Our lease gives us first right of refusal on all of the remaining office space on the fourth floor, and roof access to place test wireless communication. Thanks to Marion and Alex Hose of AMH Properties and Tico Construction for working with us.
